As an experienced overeater who has overcome the frustrations of excess weight, low self-esteem and feeling uncomfortable in my body, I will help you make the incremental changes that have the power to transform your life.
From an early age, I've had a fascination and a deep desire to understand why people think the way they do, act the way they do, and live with circumstances and outcomes they are unhappy with.
I suffered from overeating and had a severe sugar addiction for over thirty years. I lacked confidence and never felt good enough.
I lived daily, fearing being diagnosed with diabetes, but that was not enough to stop my unhealthy eating habits.
I binged on chocolates, cakes, and biscuits whenever I felt stressed, and I kept doing so for most of my adult life.
My eating behaviours were my secret.
I did not know anyone who I felt understood, and I was very ashamed of how I ate. I was too embarrassed to discuss it with even my closest friends.
Unfortunately, my training in psychology and a career as a mental health professional did not provide all the answers I sought at the time.
After 35 years of research, testing, training, and personal experience, I discovered answers which had little to do with what was happening outside us and more to do with what was happening within.
When I realised I could resolve not only my unhealthy eating habits and behaviours by addressing the root cause, things finally changed.
I have distilled my insights and experiences to help you achieve the outcomes you desire.
